ESC Silicon Valley 2008

Micromint BoothIn April Micromint USA exhibited at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Silicon Valley 2008 where we announced two new controller boards that mark our entry into new areas within the embedded systems market. Our new Eagle 100 controller is based on the ARM Cortex-M3 MCU and is designed for cost-sensitive data acquisition and control applications requiring real-time performance, networking and support of popular peripherals. Applications can run on the Eagle 100 standalone without an operating system or with a low memory footprint real time OS such as FreeRTOS. Our new Electrum 200 controller is based on the ARM9 MCU and is designed for applications requiring high performance, networking, reliable multitasking and a larger memory footprint. Applications can run on the Electrum 200 with ARM Linux or with a dedicated RTOS. Both are backed with the quality, reliability and support you expect from a Micromint controller. Our development team is ready to assist you with the integration of these new controllers into your existing product line.

Micromint Eagle 100 SBC now available!

Eagle 100Our Eagle 100 SBC started shipping in August! The Eagle 100 is a single board computer designed for cost-sensitive control applications that require real-time performance, networking and extensive support of popular peripherals. It delivers 32-bit performance and features at a cost equivalent to legacy 8- and 16-bit controllers. Powered by a Texas Instruments ARM Cortex-M3 core capable of over 60 MIPS, the Eagle 100 can fulfill demanding requirements in monitoring, instrumentation, data acquisition, process control, factory automation and many other applications. ESC Silicon Valley 2009

Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valley 2009 Micromint USA participated in the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Silicon Valley 2009 March 31st – April 2nd at the McEnery Convention Center, San Jose. We announced our new line of controller boards using the picoITX form factor: the Eagle 50 and 50E. Prototypes of these controllers were previewed at the conference with marvelous acceptance. The Eagle 50 and 50E offer a great low cost (starting below $45) alternative to embedded applications that do not require PC/104 or CPLD expansion. They reinforce our commitment to the ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller architecture and maintain a high degree of compatibility with the Micromint Eagle 100. Both are backed with the quality, reliability and support you expect from a Micromint controller. Our development team is ready to assist you with the integration of these new controllers into your existing product line.
