Domino 2 Errata 9944

11/4/99

Domino 2 Modules

Starting from the date code 9944, the following engineering change has taken place on the Domino 2.

Occasionally the Domino 2 will experience difficulty in resetting the Co-Processor properly during a brief cycling of the power. To correct this problem Micromint has made a change to the Domino 2 that allows the user the option of a faster reset on the Co-Processor by draining the current faster through R1 on the schematic below. To battery back up the clock a 1N914 or equivalent diode must be placed externally on the Vbat line (U2 on the schematic). This only applies to Domino 2's with the date code of 9944 or later.

This change doesn't affect Domino 2's that are battery backed up or hat are not going to be cycled.
